Ali Merchant reunites with Munawar Faruqui at the concert of Karan Aujla; Lock Upp pals smile in VIRAL photo

Ali Merchant is not just known for his performances in the web show Libaas and the reality show Lock Upp. Apart from being a talented actor, he is also a DJ, widely loved by audiences. The actor has repeatedly proved that he can compel anyone and everyone to tap their feet. Recently, Ali also opened Tauba Tauba singer Karan Aujla’s Mumbai show, where he impressed everyone with his DJ skills.

However, at the mega show, Ali also reunited with Munawar Faruqui. The two had participated in the first season of Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Upp. In a photo from the show that surfaced on social media, Ali was seen posing with Munawar. He looked his smartest in a white t-shirt with matching pants. On the other hand, Munawar posed in a red shirt and blue jeans. The two were all smiles as they posed together.

The photo speaks of the bond and friendship that Ali Merchant shares with Munawar Faruqui. It also proves that Ali is a kind soul who is the happiest when he reunites with his old friends.

Ali Merchant has previously opened the stage for several other singers including Diljit Dosanjh, DJ Snake, Armaan Malik, Badshah, Guru Randhawa, Lucky Ali, and Edward Maya, among others. Besides this, he also opened the Dabangg Tour in 2019 in Dubai for Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and other top artists.

Recently, Ali Merchant also stepped up his passion for music by launching his new alter ego – ILA, under his music label named ‘All About Afro’. The actor-DJ revealed that through this new venture, he wants to take the essence of Indian classical and folk music to the global level.
